And what it says

Nordstein operates at the intersection of entrepreneurial capital needs and private-market investor interest. We create a structured connection between Swiss growth companies and investors who want to participate selectively in non-listed companies. Our focus is on companies with operational substance and long-term development potential, especially in Life Science and Healthcare.

At the centre of our work is the private equity market outside the stock exchange. While listed securities are traded daily, a substantial share of entrepreneurial value creation takes place in the non-listed sector. Nordstein provides access to this market segment and supports capitalisation processes in a structured, transparent and responsible manner.

Nordstein acts as a specialised partner for the placement and brokerage of private equity investments. We support companies in approaching suitable investors and accompany the capitalisation process organisationally and communicatively. We understand our role as a professional interface between company and investor.

Our work goes beyond the transaction itself. We value a structured preparation of investment opportunities, a comprehensible presentation of the entrepreneurial starting point and clear communication of opportunities and risks. Even after an investment has been completed, we remain a point of contact for investors and ensure a continuous flow of information.

Our
core business

What we do

Private equity brokerage

Private equity refers to the acquisition of non-listed company interests through equity capital. The investor becomes a co-owner and participates in the company's economic success, while also bearing the entrepreneurial risk up to the possible total loss of the capital invested.

Nordstein brokers investments in selected, non-listed Swiss companies with an operational focus on the Life Science and Healthcare sectors. These sectors are characterised by strong innovation, technological specialisation and long development cycles. Our aim is to provide investors with curated access to these investment opportunities while transparently presenting the entrepreneurial perspective.

Private equity brokerage

As part of our work, we accompany companies on capital-market-related questions in the field of equity financing. This includes, in particular, structuring the placement process, approaching investors and coordinating communication between the company and capital providers.

Nordstein does not assume operational management, valuation activities or an issuing function. Instead, it sees itself as an independent brokerage and support partner within the private equity market outside the stock exchange.

Nordstein philosophy

Nordstein stands for substance, reliability and a long-term perspective. We do not understand private equity as short-term speculation, but as an entrepreneurial investment with a corresponding time horizon and risk profile.

Our work requires regulatory sensitivity, careful documentation and transparent communication.

We are convinced that sustainable relationships between companies and investors can only emerge when expectations are realistically defined and opportunities as well as risks are presented openly.

We deliberately focus on selected investment opportunities and personal support. Quality comes before volume.

Our ambition is to bring capital and entrepreneurship together responsibly and thereby contribute to the long-term development of Switzerland as an innovation location.
